Departure to Lipica - a cultural monument of European and worldwide reputation, located in Slovenia’s karst region, an unusual stony land covered with low bushes, small pine forests, and vineyards. The Lipica stud, cradle of the Lipizzaner, has been developing for more than four hundred years. In 1580, the Austrian Archduke Karl II established the stud, and it was the property of the Austrian court until 1918.The performances of its classic riding school are an unforgettable experience. Today, Lipica is known as an international venue for traditional equestrian events including World Cup dressage competitions and the Lipica Stud Days. Lipica is increasingly becoming Slovenia’s equestrian centre where lovers of equestrian sports from Slovenia and abroad meet. Overnight in Lipica.

Day 4 Lipica - Rogaska (200km/3h)
Drive to the spa resort of Rogaska - Legend has it that the winged horse Pegasus drank from the Rogaška springs at the orders of Apollo, the god of the sun and of health. This is how the springs are celebrated in the poetic mythologies of the 17th century. The spa truly flourished two centuries later: in the second half of the 19th century, when Rogaška was enjoying a golden age under Count Ferdinand Attems, the spa was visited by ruling families and members of the high nobility. This select clientele was entertained by some of the foremost artists of the age, among them Franz Liszt. Spa activities. Overnight.
