The Manchester Irish Festival, March - one of the biggest in Europe, the main events include a festival market, a tent with major acts and a bar in Albert Square, plus a street parade.
Oxford Folk Festival, April - it is now a major spring event, reflecting the resurgent interest in all things folk.
Bath Comedy Festival, April - the annual festival brings the crème de la crème of stand-up comedians, street theatre and mime performers, plays, caricatures and more.
Ghost Tours, East Molesley, October-March - Stories of the strange goings-on throughout the centuries at Hampton Court Palace will raise the hairs on the back of your neck.

Day 1 London
Arrival transfer.

Day 2 London - Winchester (110km/1,30h)
Departing London, drive through England‘s oldest county, Wiltshire, across the amazing Salisbury Plain where you‘ll see the great prehistoric temple of Stonehenge and a landscape simply littered with ancient burial sites. See the evidence of Iron Age hill forts, possible sites of where the great Celtic king, Arthur and his Round Table knights took on the Saxon invaders. Then to Winchester, to see the great Round table in the mediaeval hall. After that, take time to explore Cadbury Castle, perhaps the site of Camelot. Overnight.

Day 3 Winchester - Dorsetshire (100km/1,30h)
Today, explore the lovely, timeless country of Dorsetshire. This is real back-roads country where time has stood still amidst the villages and harbours of the region. Jane Austen‘s Lyme Regis is one of the highlights of our day, as will be Thomas Hardy‘s cottage and monument. See the famed Chesil beach and the quaint town of Dorchester. Overnight.

Day 4 Dorsetshire - Cornwall (200km/3h)
Cross the beautiful and awesome landscape of the Dartmoor National Park, en route to the north Cornwall coast. Here visit Tintagel castle, the reputed birthplace of King Arthur. The castle sits on top of the wild cliffs accessible only by walking. Later, visit a selection of the quaint fishing villages of the north Cornwall and Devon coasts. Finally, stop for a famed Cornish‚ pastie‘ somewhere on route. Overnight.

Day 5 Cornwall - Glastonbury (190km/3h) - Wells (10km/10min) - London (230km/3,30h)
Start the day with Cheddar Gorge and the mystic town of Glastonbury, site of Arthur‘s burial and‚ New Age‘ capital of England.Here see the ancient abbey and the mysterious ‚Tor‘. Next, visit Wells and its famed Norman 12th century cathedral before travelling the short distance to the stunning city of Bath. Explore this elegant Georgian city and its Roman remains before drive back to London Overnight.

Day 6 London
Transfer to the airport.
