Oberammergau - Innsbruck - Lucerne - Turin - Florence - Assisi - Cascia - Lanciano - Rotondo - Rome

Day 1 Oberammergau
Arrival at the airport. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 Oberammergau
Explore the village of Oberammergau. Visit the Roman Catholic Parish Church of St Peter and Paul and the Oberammergau Museum emphasized on woodcarving. See the collection that displays a wide range of examples of art and handicrafts from gothic to modern times. Continue with a Passion Play.

Day 3 Oberammergau - Innsbruck (90km/1,30h)
Departure to Austria. Admire the Shrine of Our Lady of Maria Plain in Salzburg, a subject of local devotion. In 1983, Pope John Paul II prayed before the image of the Virgin Mary of Maria Plain. Continue to the village of Absam to see Our Lady of Absam that was known to be miraculous. See the small glass pane with the image of the Virgin Mary in the parish church. Overnight in Innsbruck.

Day 4 Innsbruck - Lucerne (300km/4h)
The tour starts with a visit of the Eucharistic Miracle of Seefeld. See the high altar and the Chapel of the Holy Blood which contains a monstrance holding the miraculous host. Departure to Switzerland. Visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Einsiedeln, an important Catholic shrine in the village of Einsiedeln. Explore the relics of St Meinrad, a miraculous Black Madonna statue and a Benedictine Monastery. Stop at the fountain fed by St Meinrad`s spring and drink from each of the 14 sprouts. Continue to the Stations of the Cross on a well-marked forest path up to the top of Mt Meinrad. Arrival in Lucerne. Visit Jesuit Church.

Day 5 Lucerne - Turin (350km/4h)
Departure to Italy and Turin. Explore the Cathedral of St John the Baptist that lies in a place where the theatre of the ancient Roman city was located. See the Chapel of the Holy Shroud, the current resting place of the Shroud of Turin. Overnight.

Day 6 Turin - Florence (400km/4,30h)
Travel to Renaissance Florence. Visit Santa Maria del Fiore, famous for its distinctive dome, it is the house of prayers of all nations. See the tomb of the greatest Italian sculptor, Michelangelo and the church of San Lorenzo. Walk around the Piazza Della Repubblica.

Day 7 Florence - Assisi (200km/2,30h)
Continue to Macerate that Our Lord bled through the Eucharist. Travel to Loreto to visit the most Holy House of Our Lady, believed to be the very home in which the Virgin Mary lived, conceived and raised the young Jesus. Arrival in Assisi.

Day 8 Assisi
Visit the Franciscan Missionary Sisters. Explore the Basilica of St Francis, the mother church of The Roman Catholic Order of Friars Minor. See St Francis’s tomb. Continue to Basilica Superior, Basilica Santa Maria Degli Angeli, the Thornless Garden, Basilica of St Clare, Damiano Church and the Thornless Garden. Overnight in Assisi.

Day 9 Assisi - Cascia (90km/1,30h) - Lanciano (200km/3h) - Rotondo (280km/3h)
Departure to Cascia. Visit the Shrine of St Rita and the Eucharistic miracle of Cascia. Continue to Lanciano to venerate the First and Greatest Eucharistic Miracle where the Host turned to Flesh and the Wine to Blood. Travel to Rotondo and visit the sanctuary of Saint Pio, the first stigmatized priest. Overnight in Rotondo.

Day 10 Rotondo - Rome (250km/3,30h)
Travel to the Cathedral of Alatri to venerate a most wonderful Eucharistic miracle. Continue to Rome. Visit the Basilica of St Paul, believed to be the final resting place of St Paul. Continue to Basilica of St John the Lateran, the most ancient church in the world. Visit Scala Santa and honor the Passion of Jesus. Admire Santa Croce and its extraordinary collection of relics from the Holy Land.

Day 11 Rome
The tour in Rome continues visiting St Peter`s Basilica, the major basilica in Vatican City. Continue to the Basilica of Mary Maggiore, which harmonises a great variety of architectural styles. The bell tower is medieval, the ceiling is from the Renaissance and the domes are Baroque. Visit St Alphonsus, a Guardian church of the original icon of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour. Continue to the Pantheon, the temple to all Gods in Ancient Rome. See the famous Tivoli fountain, included in the Unesco world heritage list.

Day 12 Rome
Transfer to the airport for your final departure.
