Madrid - Salamanca - Ávila - Segovia - Madrid

Day 1 Madrid
Arrival at the airport of Madrid. Transfer to the hotel and overnight.

Day 2 Madrid
Sightseeing tour of Madrid, dedicated to the highlights of the city - Plaza España, Puerta del Sol, The Royal Palace and Plaza Mayor. Free time or optional visit of the Royal Palace, Museo del Prado or Reina Sofía, Spain’s national museum of 20th century, the highlights here include collections of the Spain’s greatest masters, Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dalí.

Day 3 Madrid - Salamanca (220 km/3,30h)
Drive northwest to Salamanca, considered one of the most spectacular Renaissance cities in Europe and home of the oldest university in Spain. The half-day tour includes the Old City, part of UNESCO World Heritage, the University of Salamanca, where Cervantes was a student, the Old Cathedral of Santa María de la Sede, founded in 12th century, and Plaza Mayor, one of the most magnificent squares in Spain. Free time and overnight in Salamanca.

Day 4 Salamanca - Ávila (110 km/2h) - Segovia (70 km/1,30h) - Madrid (90 km/ 1,30h)
A full day tour dedicated to the cities Ávila and Segovia, both part of the UNESCO World Heritage. Drive to Ávila, famous for its intact city walls and 90 towers dating back to the 11th century. Visit the Old City inside the city walls, the Cathedral of Ávila from 10th-14th century, and the main market place, a great place to have a lunch. Continue to Segovia to see the incredible aqueduct, an engineering achievement dating back 2,000 years and whose colossal appearance is still intact today. Segovia is also famous for its Alcazar, a beautiful 11th-century medieval fort that inspired the design of the Disney castle. Return and overnight in Madrid.

Day 5 Madrid
Departure to Madrid airport.
