Day 1 Minsk
Arrival at the airport. Transfer to the hotel.
Day 2 Minsk
Explore Minsk. Visit Independence Square with its collection of Stalinist buildings, Victory Square and the Island of Tears, a monument to the fallen soldiers in the Soviet campaign against Afghanistan. Have a walk in the old town. Continue to St. Peter and St. Paul Church, the oldest church in Minsk.
Day 3 Minsk – Mir (90km/1,30h) – Nesvizh – Minsk (100km/1,30h)
Travel to Mir. See Mir Castle, one of the most important tourist attractions in Belarus, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue to the historical settlement at Nesvizh. Explore its palaces, monasteries and 16th century houses. Back to Minsk.
Day 4 Minsk - Khatyn - Vitebsk (200km/3,30h)
Travel to the first memorial complex at Khatyn. Learn about Belarus’ tragic history. Continue to Vitebsk, the "Cultural Capital" of Belarus. See the city hall, a beautiful piece of 19th century architecture. Visit the church of Alexander Nevsky, a beautiful example of old wooden style Orthodox churches.
Day 5 Vitebsk - Polotsk (100km/1,30h)
Walk through the old town of Vitebsk and visit the house of the famous surrealist painter Marc Chagall. Travel to the historical city of Polotsk, situated on the Dvina river. Visit the beautiful cathedral of St Sophia and continue to the well-preserved Convent of St Ephrosinia.
Day 6 Polotsk - Braslav Lakes National Park (140km/2h) - Minsk (240km/3h)
Departure to the Braslau Lakes National Park, a stunning area of forest, lakes, rivers, streams and hills with a wide array of wildlife. Get to the ‘Lighthouse Mountain’. Enjoy the panoramic view over the lakes. Back to Minsk.
Day 7 Minsk
Transfer to the airport.
