Albania

Day 1 Tirana
Arrival at the airport. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 Tirana - Durres (40km/1h)
Departure to Durres, the main resort area in Albania along the Adriatic Sea. Visit the amphitheatre and the Archaeological Museum. Have a walk along the beach area of Golem.

Day 3 Durres – Kruja (50km/1h) – Durres
Departure to Kruja, a former capital of the first Albanian principality. Walk through the narrow streets of the medieval Old Bazaar and get to the fortress and the Museum of the Albanian National Hero, George Kastriot Skanderbeg. Explore the Ethnographic Museum. Departure to Durres.

Day 4 Durres – Berat (100km/1,30h) – Ardenica – Apollonia (30km/30min)- Vlora (40km/1h)
The tour goes to Berat, the Live Museum Town. Explore the medieval fortress of the Old Town. Visit the Cathedral of St Nicholas and the museum of Onufri, a famous painter of icons. Get to the top of the hill overlooking the river Osumi river. Continue to Ardenica with a visit the 13 century Byzantine monastery. Next in the programme is Apollonia, founded during the 6th century B.C. Explore the archaeological site, rich in monuments. Visit the museum and the Byzantine Church of St. Mary. Departure to Vlora. See the Monument of Independence, the museum and the Mosque of Muradie.

Day 5 Vlora - Llogara (40km/1h) - Himara (40km/1h) - Saranda (60km/1h)
Explore the National Park of Llogara. Drive to Himara, a charming fish village along the Albanian Riviera. Arrival in Saranda. Enjoy a walk along this nice coasttown situated just a few miles across the Greek island of Corfu.

Day 6 Butrint
Departure to Butrint.Find the ancient town of Butrint, founded by the Trojans during the first millennium BC. See the amphitheatre, the remains of the Thermal Bath and continue to the Baptistery, the Lion's Gate. Enjoy the view from the top of the medieval fortress overlooking the town of Saranda.

Day 7 Saranda – Gjirokastra (60km/1h) - Tirana (300km/4h)
Departure to Gjirokastra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is called The town of one thousand steps. Explore the biggest fortress in Albania and the National Museum of Weapons. Visit the Old Bazaar. Continue to Tirana.

Day 8 Tirana – Elbasan – Pogradec (90km/1,30h) – Tirana (130km/2h)
Drive to Elbasan fortress. Continue to Pogradec. Explore the park of Drilon. Back to Tirana.

Day 9 Tirana
Have 2 hours by foot, departure from Taiwan center by foot, walking to bllok area or forbidden city. During communism period it was not allowed to pass there. Walk to Mother Teresa Square of Congress, check point of Postbllok, Pyramid of Tirana, National Gallery of Arts, Et'hem Bey Mosque, the square of Gjergj Kastrioti Skenderbeg, National Historical Museum. Near is Bunker Art 1. Free time 2 hrs. in the afternoon visit Kruja for about 3 hours museums and old Bazar.

Day 10 Tirana
Transfer to the airport.
