Day 1 Arrival Copenhagen
Arrive at the airport and transfer to hotel for overnight
Day 2 Copenhagen - Gothenburg (315km/4h)
You are introduced to Hans Christian Andersen's Little Mermaid - the symbol of Copenhagen - gazing wistfully across the harbour.). See the Christianborg ( Danish Parliament), Rosenborg and Amalienborg Palaces and the Renaissance Stock Exchange. Transfer to Gothenburg
Day 3 Gothenburg (290km/3h30min)Oslo
See all of Gothenburg's sights like Lilla Bommen, the Maritiman museum, Feskekörka fish market and Liseberg amusement park. In the afternoon proceed to Oslo
Day 4 Oslo
A panoramic tour takes in the Akershus Fort guarding the harbour and the Royal Palace and includes a visit to the Viking Long Ship Museum. Visit Frogner Park which is housing the unique and controversial sculptures by Gustav Vigeland
Day 5 Oslo (220km/3h30min) Geilo
Transfer to Geilo. In the Geilo (pronounced yay-low) area, you will find over 50 alpine slopes and both large and small snow parks. The slopes are well-groomed and located close to the center for an efficient and pleasurable skiing experience. You can ski down the slopes, take off your skis and walk right into the stores and restaurants. A ski bus runs all day from your accommodation to the slopes. Geilo is also an eldorado for cross-country skiing, with more than 550 km of well prepared and marked tracks. Stop at one of Geilo's traditional mountain cafés and treat yourself to some traditional Norwegian waffles and hot chocolate.
Day 6 Geilo ( 244km/4h) Bergen
Transfer to Bergen. Capital of Western Norway and gateway to the fjords. After arrival have a city tour of this beautiful Old Hansa Town, surrounded by 7 mountains. The tour will show you the Old Bryggen Area and the popular Fish and Flower Market, the ancient Maria Church, Hanseatic Quarter, Old Bryggen Harbor and other famous sights
Day 7 Bergen (103km/130min) Voss (65km/1h) – Flam
Transfer to Voss. Then transfer to Flam . The Flam Railway (Flåmsbana) is a spectacular train journey that offers a panoramic view of some of the wildest and most magnificent nature in the Norwegian fjord landscape. The railway is one considered to be one of Norway's major and most thrilling tourist attractions and the train journey provides some of the countrys wildest and most awe inspiring scenery. On the 20 km-long train ride that operates between Myrdal and Flåm, you can see rivers that cut through deep ravines, waterfalls cascading down the side of steep, snow-capped mountains and mountain farms clinging dizzily to sheer slopes. The Flam Railway makes a photo stop at the beautiful Kjosfossen waterfall. The twisting tunnels that spiral in and out of the mountain bear witness to the most daring and skilled engineering in Norwegian railway history and is truly a sight to behold. The end stop of the railway is the small picturesque village of Flåm, situated innermost in the Aurlandsfjord, an arm of the 204-km long and up to 1308 metre deep Sognefjord.
Day 8 Flam (281km/6h) Geiranger
Long drive to Geiranger.
Day 9 Geiranger (336km/6h) Lillehammer
Start the mirror smooth waters of Geirangerfjord to embark on
spectacular Highlight cruise beneath towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls.
Travel to Lillehammer
Day 10 Lillehammer( 307km/5h) Karlstad
Enjoy short orientation tour. Lillehammer, used to
be the site of winter olympics. Today, we are headed to Karlstad. Provincial
capital of Sweden at the heart of Varmland, one of the Sweden's
loveliest lake tower.
Day 11 Karlstad ( 308km/4h)Stockholm
We proceed to Stockholm – Sweden's great capital. The city is a
facinating mixture of sophistication and country life, a city of contrast
between ancient and modern. Check – in hotel for overnight.
Day 12 Stockholm – Helsinki ( Overnight – Ferry)
Start the day with an insight into the Swedish welfare state - learn about the myths and realities of maintaining these first class benefits. Then the charms of Sweden's capital are revealed with your local guide. Visit the City Hall's 'Gold Room', where Nobel Prize banquets are held, the medieval Old Town and see the cathedral. Visit the 17th century Vasa Galleon, one of the greatest attractions of northern Europe, then embark on a Baltic cruise to Finland through the largest archipelago in the world
Day 13 Helsinki
Arrive in Helsinki.Start tour with visit the astonishing modern 'Church in the Rock'. Also see the Sibelius Monument, Finland Hall, the Russian Orthodox Church and the lively market. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight.
